The Police Subsystem
The position of the authorities is to implement the law and maintain order in the community. In 2150, there were around 18, 500 police organizations employing several million full-time sworn and non-sworn employees. They are intimately involved in teen justice problems, they mostly operate nearby, and are as a result in close proximity to cities and areas. For juvenile offenders and victims, community police in many cases are their first contact with child justice specialists.
